How is tape used in HVAC work?

In HVAC work, tape has many uses:

  • For seaming and sealing joints and connections on ductwork
  • For additional sealing to mechanical connections where a tape may not be approved as a mechanical connector,
  • For sealing and seaming insulation wrap on ductwork
