How to Protect Floors Before Painting

Protecting floors before any painting job is an essential part of the project and should always be the first step taken. To add proper floor protection during a painting project, follow the three steps below:

Clean the surface of the floor
Completely cover the floor with plastic
Tape down the edges of the plastic covering
